my time here has been wonderful. it's been good in probably all of the ways. actually, the word "good" is a terrible understatement. as i was attempting to describe to others i've spoken with since here, i feel so exhilarated. not because i'm in this new, crazy big and bustling city, but simply because i'm finally somewhere other than the two states i've lived in for 20 years of my life. i've said before that i felt like this trip was very much overdue, but all i can say now, in the present, here, is that i am so happy to be learning, seeing, experiencing, satisfying all the senses in this way. i wouldn't even trade the airport experience for anything.
travel. what a seriously outrageous, profound thing.
here are some initial images from my journey so far.
